AirAsia vs MAS

Now harga minyak dah $50+ satu tong, harap kerajaan Barisan Nasional yang kita sanyangi akan consider to reduce the retails price. Dulu $70+, so kena naikkan harga, now dah turun, kenapa kena tunggu setahun baru nak reduce price for consumer? Tunggu harga stabil? Ingat emas ke harga boleh stabil? Bodoh betul..!

"...kerajaan akan memantau harga minyak mentah di pasaran bagi tempoh setahun sebelum membuat sebarang ketetapan mengenai harga runcit bahan api itu di negara ini.
." – Najib kepada Utusan

Last time Malaysia witness price war between petroleum company in Malaysia. Mula-mula government biarkan to benefit consumer but at the end bila kerajaan masuk campur berakhirlah peperangan yang menarik itu.

Now, another war occurs. Kali ini antara AirAsia and MAS. Charge bahan api pun turun juga ke since harga petrol dah turun? Jangan harap lah, but to support Visit Malaysia Year 2007, both parties are reducing their domestic and few international flight rates tremendously.

“MAS is offering tickets at less than RM10 each for two local routes, while AirAsia is pricing its flights from 99 sen.” - TheStar

MAS sediakan 250,000 tiket untuk 23 destinaions while AirAsia offering 500,000 seats discount sehingga 99% for all destination.

For me, happy to see MAS try to fight with AirAsia untuk penerbangan tambang
murah. But I really hope they will not neglect any safety measure to minimize the cost. We seriously don’t want to see what happen to Indonesia’s low cost carrier, Adam Air repeat here. I heard somewhere, AirAsia sama seperti syarikat bus express. Mereka akan cuba mengejar jumlah perjalanan per day. For example, the plane will make 5 trips from KL to Kuching, instead of 3 for normal airline operator. They use same aircraft and normally same maintenance system, tetapi kapal terbang tu digunakan untuk lebih banyak perjalanan. Shift untuk on-board staff pun for AirAsia lebih compare to others. Aku pernah naik dari Sibu pukul 8:00 pm, stewardess told me she start work at 8:00 am. And Sibu – KL is her 5th trip for that day.

I’m no genius but aku rasa mereka menjemput tragedy untuk berlaku. Bila dah berlaku nanti start pointing fingers dan akhirnya Pak Lah pula yang kena. Kesian dia...

Alaskan Fish Burger Sucks

Aku bukan typical ‘customer always right’ kinda guy. Since pada aku money not the most important value dalam life, so malas la nak berkira dengan peniaga. Even we pay for what ever we desire to get, not everything money can buy. Sikit-sikit betolak ansur je lah.

But last week, aku makan KFC’s Alaskan Fish Burger and one thing melekat dalam fikiran aku.
The burger is priced at RM5.30 a la carte, and RM7.70 for a combo set that includes a regular coleslaw and a regular carbonated drink. They promote it like mad, everywhere boleh jumpa advertisement pasal product terbaru dari KFC ini. One of the most important elements of their marketing strategy is ‘money back guarantee’. Masa pelancaran product ini pun KFCH managing director Jamaluddin Md Ali cakap:

“As part of our promotion for the burger, we are also offering a money back guarantee for those who are dissatisfied with the taste,” - KFCH managing director Jamaluddin Md Ali..

Source: TheStar

So, to be honest memang tak suit dengan taste aku pun, not their fault la, maybe memang dah terbiasa makan ayam KFC then bila try ikan rasa tak sedap. Sadly, bila aku ask for the form, staff di sana cakap, ‘Takde..!’ Tanpa rasa bersalah je dia bagi jawapan macam tu. Teringin juga nak merasa buat kecoh dalam kedai makan, but my girl friend dah make her move towards my car. Aku pun terfikir, berapa ringgit sangat, rugi masa, tenaga and air liur aku je.

Its weird how stupid this KFC’s management for not kotakan janji yang mereka buat. Mereka berani memperbodohkan pengguna sebab they knows, most people will not even ask for their money back, walau tak sedap mana pun. Even kalau ada yang nak claim, will end up like me, maybe 2-3 minggu tak pergi KFC, lepas tu akan rindu dengan Hot & Spicy dan cheesy wages. Don’t know whether KFC di federal highway is the only outlet yang tidak mempunyai form tu, if anyone visit KFC please ask for the form. Let me know…..

Batu Talam, Oh Batu Talam…

Batu Talam, Oh Batu Talam…

Hari-hari keluar TV, cerita tol menjadi suram…

Dulu senyap sunyi sepi, sekarang macam bot karam…

Esok lusa akan dilupai, cuma menjadi sejarah silam…

Batu Talam, Oh Batu Talam…

Tak lawan political party, tapi ceramah siang malam…

Budak baru boleh mengundi, BN masih terasa suam…

Pembangkang undur diri, namun tetap kena hentam...

Walau mesyuarat PIBG, tangan menteri dapat disalam…

Batu Talam, Oh Batu Talam…

SPR ubah tarikh undi, BN suruh duduk diam…

Datuk Misai Datuk Siti, air banjir tak siapa seram...

Pilihanraya jadi misteri, hantu pandai guna kalam…

Mana pergi demokrasi?, memangnya aku tak faham…

Batu Talam, Oh Batu Talam…

Kutuk SPR tiap hari, semua nak lepas geram…

SPR tiada maruah diri, ikut telunjuk BN yang kejam…

Keadilan boleh dibeli, hati busuk menjadi legam…

Barisan menang lagi, kesian budak tu kena palam…

Batu Talam, Oh Batu Talam…

Pedihnya dalam hati, macam api dalam sekam…

Sedih takut risau benci, tak mampu nak dipendam…

Penyelewangan sana sini, semua rakyat terpaksa pejam…

Jika dibiar siapa rugi?, cuba fikir dalam-dalam…

Oleh: Mr. Right (AkuBetul)

  1. I’m not sure what to call this, not a pantun, not even syair…
  2. Adakah SPR betul-betul adil?
  3. Boycott, the best Opposition Parties can come out with?
  4. Pembangkang yang bangang atau pengundi yang bodoh?

Ntah…make your own conclusion.

Sukan Sikit

  1. Malaysia kalah kepada Singapore 4-5, penalti.
  2. All our player out from Super Series Korean Open
  3. Sharapova demolished by superb Serena.
  4. Federer menang lagi.

Boring nak cerita pasal sukan. The only thing aku nak cakap, we can’t kutuk our football player. They already gave everything to beat Singapore. We just have to admit lady luck not on our side. But why on earth Norizan pick youngster Khyril to take crucial last penalty kick? He should choose player paling pengalaman, budak tu tahu if he failed Singapore akan menang, he just crack under tremendous pressure.

Sport Updates Lagi...

Australian Open

At least half of my prediction is true. FedEx and Sharapova both in the final. I just can’t believe Serena William managed to make a noticeable comeback as early as 1st major of the year. We all knew when she at her best, she be able to beat anybody, hopefully not this time. Sharapova just too hot to be on the losing side. But why she wears same dress untuk setiap round? Boring betul.

Aku juga tidak faham how come Nadal kalah quarter final. He looks fit and strong as ever, maybe just another bad day at office. Talking about bad day, Andy Roddick knows everything about it. Kesian dia semalam, the whole arena laughing after the match when commentator asked Federer why he whacked Roddick 6-4, 6-0, 6-2. Fellow Malaysian also makes a headlines yesterday kat Australian Open. Associated Press photographer, Vincent Thian experienced a piece of Roddick mind, bila Roddick lepaskan geram and baling racket almost hit him. Nasib baik nobody injured. Hahahaha…

Ronaldo

He used to be the best striker in the world. After 17 years old young boy introduced by Bobby Robson at PSV, rest of the world witness another Brasilian talent unearth for us to enjoy. Semua orang tahu kejayaan yang dia miliki, world cup, FIFA world player of the year, Champ League dan banyak lagi. Within next few days, he will wear AC Milan jersey. The interesting parts adalah, he the only player yang pernah dan akan bermain with 2 biggest rival club in the world football.

Barcelona – Real Madrid and Inter Milan – AC Milan

Barcelona snatched dia dari PSV before he move to Inter Milan. After Inter help him with his long term injury problem he snub them by signing for The Galaticos. Barcelona’s fan yang pernah sayang dia start to hate him a lot before the arrival of Ronaldinho. Now, he will again give another reason for Inter’s fan to hate him, by accepting AC Milan offer. Sama macam Khalid Jamlus, pindah dari Perak ke Selangor last 2 seasons. Then after 1 ½ years tak score a single goal semasa memakai jersey merah kuning, Perak dengan penuh kebodohan offer him a contract to partner Keita Mandjou. Stupid…!

Korean Open

All the best to Roslin, Hafiz, Chong Wei, Koo – Tan and Tan Fook – Wan Wah yang qualified to quarter final. Sayang sebab only one of our double will be in the semis. This Super Series draw kadang-kadang menyakitkan hati juga.

Keranamu Malaysia....

Aku terdengar benda ini di radio this morning, I believe the DJ quote what he read in Utusan today. He said, after 6 years Malaysia celebrate Independent Day with same slogan ‘Keranamu Malaysia’, tahun ini sempena 50 tahun akan ada tema baru. So, there will be competition to choose the most unique and patriotic motto, hadiah mestilah ribu-ribu.

So, here some idea I have in my mind now.

“Barisan Nasional Cemerlang, Ahli BN Kenyang”

“Pak Lah Gemilang, Mahathir Tak Senang”

“Pemimpin Terbilang, Rakyat Mengerang”

I think aku ada peluang nak menang, kan? But which one should I sent? Please give some advice.

There should be competition design logo untuk hari kemerdekaan juga. So, here my masterpiece..

Harimau Mengembek… Singa Berkokok...

Masing-masing menggunakan mascot yang ganas, but to be honest both team failed to lift up to their nick name and entertain supporters masa game hari tu. Ramai dah tahu, game tu Malaysia main cantik, we control the flow and as I stated in my previous posting, Singapore love to defend deep. Cuma striker kita failed to convert all the golden or half chances and our midfielder pun have no confident to test Lionel Lewis. Just a fluke shot from Hardi menghasilkan 1st goal.

– Harian Metro

Aku admit aku a bad loser, difficult for me to accept team yang aku sokong tewas atau gagal meraih kemenangan. I will try to find excuse to blame other parties for the defeat. I don’t know bagus atau tidak sifat tu, but sememangnya aku sukar menerima kekalahan.

Antaranya:

  1. Why AFF choose referee from China since Singapore ada import Chinese to play for them, their midfielder Shi Jiayi, play for Young Lions dalam S-League. Although nothing much to say about his decision that night, but as I mention earlier I will find all kind of excuse to protect my team. Maybe, Chinese referee will bias to Chinese player.
  2. Two occasions, Hairuddinn jatuh dalam kotak penalty Singapore, referee takes no action at all. If he believes no fault committed by Deniel Bennett, he should show yellow card to Hairuddin, since obviously Hairuddin claim for the call.

I also can’t understand why Norizan tidak menggunakan youngsters like Khyril Muhameen and Saramsak on the early stage of the game? The Kedah duo really made an impact when Norizan send them in. Compare to Eddy Helmi and Nizarudin Yusuf, pemain muda ini lebih laju and not afraid to make a gamble move.

Last match Singapore tidak boleh gunakan khidmat their creative import midfielder, Mustafic Fahrudin, sebab suspended. Then returns leg nanti, they will be without their captain Aide Iskandar, since hari tu kena kad merah. Damn stupid la dia ni. Harian Metro confidently said referee punish him sebab ‘curi masa’ dengan pura-pura injured, possible juga. But I believe dia kena kad sebab he stupid enough to enter the playing field after he got his ‘treatment’ without referee’s permission. Masa dia angkat tangan untuk masuk padang, dia tak sedar yang dia dah few meters inside the playing field. Stupid…!

Saturday nanti maybe Radojko Avramovic akan convert Fahrudin to partner Precious Emuejeraye in the heart of their defend, since they have no establish central defender selain Bennett yang lebih diperlukan di sebelah kiri. Hope our strikers boleh beat these new combination and produce goals yang akan membuatkan penyokong mereka senyap.

On the way balik, I also witness bus with plate number AFQ 5898. Penyokong Perak, datang dari Ipoh just to support Malaysia, cool..! Seronok tengok die hard fan Perak and Selangor berpadu tenaga support Malaysia, mereka ini selalunya macam anjing and kucing. (sapa kucing sapa anjing?)

News Update (Utusan Malaysia)

Ramai dah kenal 2 Malaysian blogger yang kena sued by NST. Even Pak Lah comment pasal issue ini dari London

"I don't agree with freedom without responsibility. Freedom without responsibility is anarchy. Actually, it is being irresponsible," – Pak Lah (Bernama)

Jeff and Ahirudin, both always attack English language news paper, they both dulu pernah gaduh where Ahirudin still dalam Malay Mail. Another famous blogger Saudara Roslan (n32.blogspot) pula sering mempersoalkan kewibawaan Utusan Malaysia. Maybe they use to be in the loop and they know how bad the system is. Semua orang sedar sukar (almost impossible) untuk mendapat freedom di Malaysia sebab kerajaan ‘hold the balls’ of all the key people dalam media.

Pada aku pula, I just love to comment any issue yang dipaparkan oleh media. Kalau aku rasa menarik and betul, aku puji. Kalau sebaliknya, aku simply kutuk la. Lagipun nobody really care what I write, maybe just a few friends yang rajin baca blog aku.

So, two main stories aku jumpa dalam Utusan Malaysia today yang aku nak comment.

1.
Pecah Amanah Tabung Haji

Useless kalau aku letak link pun, nobody going to click. So here the synopsis:

Datuk Mohd. Amin Sidek, 56, bekas Pengurus Besar Kanan (Kewangan) dan Datuk Mohamad Shafie, 57, bekas Pengurus Besar Kanan (Pelaburan) dijatuhkan hukuman penjara 10 tahun kerana menipu dua menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dalam urusan pelaburan bernilai RM200 juta. They purposely blind the Board of Director and Minister eye’s to make an investment at Metrowangsa Aset Management Sdn. Bhd. yang tidak berlesen.

Comment aku:

Totally unacceptable. Syaitan bertopengkan manusia. They are no different between them and perompak yang merompak duit derma di masjid.
  2. How come minister and board of director menjadi sebegitu bodoh mempercayai maklumat dari dua manusia durjana ini? Pelik dan ajaib, should be minister will ask his officer at Jabatan Perdana Menteri to check information yang diberikan. Adakah menteri kita sebegitu bodoh? Or they just too smart? (you know what I mean, right?)

2. Ceramah PAS Bukti Mainan Pembangkang

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak berkata, kehadiran beberapa pemimpin Pas berceramah di Batu Talam malam tadi mengesahkan tindakan parti itu memulau pilihan raya kecil kawasan tersebut sebagai permainan politik pembangkang semata-mata.” – Copy and paste from Utusan.

My Comment:

Datuk Seri kita ni bodoh or pura-pura bodoh? Difficult for me to understand pemikiran ahli politik. It’s an indicator impossible for me to become a politician one day, sometimes they made themselves look sooo stupid. PAS ‘berkempen’ di Batu Talam to tell their supporters why they boycott the election. They want to make sure everybody knows, they not afraid to face BN. Furthermore, by law PAS do not permitted to ‘berkempen’, so BN can simply log a police report or official complain to ‘lembu mereka’ (SPR). I believe PAS not that stupid to jeopardize their future, they know what they did at Batu Talam last few days can not be consider as ‘kempen pilihanraya’, just a normal gathering to clarify their decision to their grassroots.

Kenapa lah pemimpin BN, bersungguh di Batu Talam, budak hingusan 21 years old je pun. Cool la sikit, tak perlulah sampai bawa Datin/Datuk Siti and suami kesana. Bagi chance mereka buat anak dulu, the whole nation want to see ‘kepoweran’ datuk misai kita.

Driver Bodoh..!

Remember my entry regarding Malaysia motorcyclist bodoh? Some friends cakap driver pun bodoh, damn true. So, last few weeks aku berjaya merakamkan kebodohan pemandu Malaysia. They also managed to call an ambulance. Tapi yang misterinya, even before ambulance and police came to block half of the road, pemandu-pemandu kita yang prihatin sudah menghalang lalulintas dengan memperlahankan kenderaan hanya untuk melihat apa yang berlaku. Aku malas nak komen panjang since I believe everybody knows and pernah melihat perkara sebegini. Sebab apa pemandu-pemandu slow and intai apa yang berlaku? Aku tidak tahu, aku sendiri selalu buat macam tu. Although dah tahu we will cause a jammed by doing so, still our level of curiosity too high to been ignore.

Malaysia vs Singapooooooraaah..!
Aku still sedih sebab kalah bet and tengok kebodohan striker Malaysia semalam. So, maybe next time aku akan cerita pasal pengalaman pergi stadium semalam.

RM550, 000.00..!

Many parties offer cash money for our national team to win tonight match and also to win the AFF Championship. Happy to watch still banyak pihak menyokong bolasepak tempatan. Easy calculation, each player will get around RM22,000..! 22K for two matches, I can’t figure out any other good reason for the player to give 100% to win the championship. Semua orang suka duit... kan..

National Team Promises Hefty Reward - TheStar

Habuan Menanti Pasukan Malaysia - Utusan

Kalau jenis yang suka kritik kerajaan, surely we can say why we want to waste a lot of money to our footballers, since we already ‘pay’ them a lot. Their monthly salary lebih dari pengarah jabatan kerajaan or manager dalam sector corporate. Lebih baik that half a million we donate to mangsa banjir. For me, aku tidak peduli, any effort to support our football team or any other sport aku tidak akan kutuk. Plus, that money dikumpulkan oleh private sector, not government. Pada mereka yang tidak puas hati, pergi berlatih and try represent our country in any sports.

Aku betul-betul teruja dengan game malam ini. Harap Malaysis boleh perform and beat Singapore at least with 2 goals margin. But aku sakit hati bila orang cakap kita mesti kalah tonight. I not sure they say like that just because dah putus harapan dengan pasukan kebangsaan. Geram betul …. Dia predict Malaysia akan kalah, ok la.. aku boleh faham, but how come he willing to put his money on Singapore?

Singapore surely will play a little defensive tonight, not because they play away from home, but memang cara main mereka sebegitu. Their backline consist of 3 foreign imports, that’s shows how defensive they are. Maybe everybody blind by their 11 goal trashing of Laos. People start to say striker Tampines Rovers, Nor Alam Shah adalah forward paling power kat South East Asia. Total bullshit….! Aku malas cakap banyak, aku confident Khaisonisam and friends will make us proud tonight. Winger Kedah, Khyril Muhaimeen will make Deniel Bennet look stupid with his dazzling run and tricky footwork.

To those yang interested to support Malaysia all the way to Kota Singa this weekend, Kelab Penyokong Bola Sepak Selangor (SSFC) arrange a trip with 10 buses. We only have to pay RM45.00 for bus and stadium ticket. Tidak la mahal sangat.

Tsunami..di Sabah and to Malaysian Blogger

Luckily there are no tsunami kat Sabah semalam, itulah kuasa Allah namanya, 5 gempa susulan pun still no tsunami, Alhamdullilah.

Last few days, dua blogger terkenal Malaysia kena tsunami juga. Mereka disaman oleh NSTP kerana…(aku tak sure sebabnya, so bacalah sendiri). There are a lot of people supports these two blogger, even ada gerakan to raise fund to help them fight against NSTP and fight for freedom of speech in general. For me, they know the risk, they ready to take the gamble so, what a big deal. Kalau takut dilambung ombak, janganlah berumah ditepi pantai (tangan macam Karam Singh). They also gain a lot of money through sponsor and advertisement on their site, I believe they will not end up bankrupt even mahkamah dapati mereka bersalah. But still, aku rasa macam nak join juga Walk With Us tu, layak ke aku? Hahahahaha…..malas lah..!

- News from Jeff Ooi: here

- News from Rocky’s bru: here

- Thank you note from Jeff: here

- Comment from Marina: here

Aku pernah bersembang dengan orang MCMC Datuk something lah, he said for blogger yang gunakan free site like blogger.com, blogdrive or freewebs, government will not monitor their article, since government still consider they write just for fun. But different case for blogger use paid domain, meaning dia serious and most probably gain a lot of traffic. MCMC will then, read and sent few warning to them if they broke any regulation or ethical values. But for Ahirudin’s case, dia gunakan blogspot, still kena. Errrmmm… this proves orang kerajaan memang tidak boleh percaya. They just said what ever they want. Stupid..!

Last year aku dengar Perez Hilton kena sued by one publishing company for using their picture illegally. Most blogger kena saman dengan media company, so to be safe just avoid yourself dari sentuh media giant ini. Hahaha.. tidak salah jadi pengecut kalau kita tidak cukup kuat.

Sports Sikit:

For those who live in Klang Valley and free tomorrow night, if they refuse to sacrifice Ringgit Malaysia Sepuluh untuk menyokong Malaysia lawan Singapore, aku rasa mereka sepatutnya senyap dan jangan gatal mulut nak komen pasal bolasepak Malaysia lagi. They neglect to show 100% to support our contry, so, jangan mengada-ngada nak marah player if they failed to gove 100% effort atas padang. Player Malaysia promise to give everything to beat our arch-rival. Kalau aku berkesempatan, aku sanggup merayu pada player kita supaya kalahkan Singapore and make Goh Tat Chuan eat his own nasty, smelly, shitty, tahi kambing words.

Liverpool 2 - 0 Chelsea, Hahaha..hahahhaha...Confirm there are serious crisis inside the London club.

Arsenal 2 - 1 Mangkuk, Kah..kah..kah..kah...for the record, Arsenal memang perform lawan team power.

Berita Terpecah (Breaking News)

Gempa Bumi

Hopefully there will be no tsunami there since I think we witness enough disaster in this early 2007. Let spare some for the rest of the year.

Proton Malaysian Open 2007

Back page paper esok akan dipenuhi muka budak umur 21 dan 19 tahun, bernama Koo Kien Kiet and Tan Boon Heong selain dari berita Man. Utd vs Arsenal. Koo – Tan prove their gold medal kat Doha bukan nasib or a fluke. Maybe because crowd really behind our doubles and that contribute to their performance but beating Tony and Chandra by straight set really an achievement. Tony and Chandra are two of the most experience player around, they won everything dalam dunia badminton antarabangsa for the last 10 years. World Champinship, Olympic, Asian Games, Asean Games and almost all open tournaments around the world. So, I believe Koo and Tan if they maintain their attitude and composer, kita akan menyaksikan a legend created in front of our eyes. I can’t find their weakness, maybe not yet, but they really know how to attack and while defending, they have tricky returns. All the best…to both of them and semua pemain doubles kita yang lain, we have a lot of young pairs. So, aku rasa Tan Fook and Wan Wah, boleh jadikan coach je lah. Mereka pernah bekerja dengan ramai jurulatih, Razif, Morten Frost, Kim Hock, Park Joo Bong and currently Rexy, semua pemain-pemain legenda tu. So surely there gain a lot of experience and coaching technique maybe sekarang masa untuk mula menabur bakti di padang latihan pula.

Beside Meh Chew we also have Julia Wong yang baru berusia 20 tahun. Maybe belum sampai tahap player tennis, but nice try and harap-harap pemain wanita lain akan mula ikut. Baru la cun sikit main pakai skirt and baju terbelah-belah..hahahahha…

China tidak hantar their best bunch of player to Malaysia pun still manage to bags three categories. Woman single, woman double and mix double. Aku harap Indonesia boleh mengembalikan kegemilangan zaman Susi Susanti and menyekat dominasi China dalam woman badminton scene. Also, harapan aku kepada Park Joo bong yang membimbing squad Japan, their double players dah tunjukkan peningkatan expecially woman. So, Gou Ling and friends tidak boleh lagi suka-suka control their world ranking point setiap kali mereka berjumpa di final each and single tournament yang mereka masuk.

Australian Open

Jangkaan aku salah, Mouresmo tewas siang tadi. So, cuma tinggal beberapa player je mampu menghalang Maria Sharapova for her 1st major of the year.

Hiburan

Menyampahnya aku dengan TV3 with their Anugerah Juara Lagu 2007. Bodoh..!

Icon Search...

Warning! Long Entry

Sports Update Sikit:Tinggal Chong Wei je player single untuk kibarkan bendera Malaysia at Malaysian Open. He will meet Boa Chunlai, among 4 Chinese single yang qualified to quarterfinal..wow..! Tolak Lin Dan, China still ada 4 world class single player. Top seeded in male category all swept out from the tournament thanks to Park Sung Hwan and young Malaysian pairs, Tan Bin Shen-Ong Soon Hock. If Malaysian pairs beat Tony and Chandra today, only then I can accept kemenangan mereka atas Fu Haifeng-Cai Yun-Fu is not a fluke. But I still believe our hope to clinch something this Sunday rely on Chong Wei and Koo – Tan partnership. Dan yang paling menyakitkan hati, macam biasa Hafiz tiba-tiba bertukar menjadi player bodoh, lepas menang 1st set. Bodoh..!

Live Result: Here (slow sikit, Flash)

More news on Malaysian Open: Here

New format for so called Super Series really excited badminton fans (at least in Malaysia), only the best player can enter the main draw and the draw is not considering the world ranking and nationality even in the 1st round. Also, there will be Super Series Ranking and Super Series Final at the end of the year, cool..! Hope the gamble by BWF will pay off to attract views around the world via ESPN or/and StarSport.

Related to Title:

An icon is a symbol to represent something. To appreciate and recognize achievement seseorang dalam sesuatu bidang kita juga akan menggelarkan beliau as an icon. When I heard anybody mention squash, definitely I will imagine Nicol David holding the giant world cup trophy. So, I believe she is the perfect example of a sports icon. Why she not choose to play tennis masa budak dulu? If not, I pretty sure she will kick Sharapova’s beautiful ass by now. Since person like her I bet she will excel in what ever field she chooses to involve with. She just knows the recipe for success.

Everybody knows how important these icon to any society, right? They inspired us, they represent our country, they set a very high standard for us to follows and a lot more. Currently, I believe Malaysia kekurangan individu yang mampu menggalas tanggungjawap sebegitu.

We need:

1. World Class Performance Artist

Indonesia has Anggun, Thailand ada Tata Young we have no answer to both of them. Anita Sarawak hanya famous di Caesar Palace not even Las Vegas pun. Selain beliau, ada beberapa percubaan dari KRU, Ning, Pop Shuvit, still not even close to Anggun or Tata standard. Masa zaman filem hitam putih pula we managed to win few awards at Asia Film Festival through P.Ramlee and Bad Latif. Sekarang, cuma beberapa anugerah di festival kecil-kecilan. We desperately need an icon to lift our entertainments industry. I know our showbiz not in good shape since I can’t find any Chinese who support local artist. Remember, majority of our Ringgit Malaysia are in their hand. Urban Chinese, likewise urban Malays and Indian will only listen to English song while Ah Beng and Ah Lian support music dari Hong Kong atau Negara sekitanya sahaja.

2. Popstar Footballers

FAM conducts a sms contest last year to choose the most popular footballer for 2006. Tahu siapa menang? Syamsuri Mustafa, Terengganu’s goalkeeper. Last year Terengganu not even play in MLeague. No offence to him, I believe cuma saudara mara and kenalan dia sahaja yang send those sms. Tidak pernah dalam sejarah bola antarabangsa pemain paling popular plays between the poles. But we just have no striker or midfielder yang cukup bagus to be promoted by local media. Akmal Rizal pernah memberi sedikit harapan, but anak emak tu rindukan sawah bendang masa main dengan club di Perancis. Khairy and Jason Lo pun masa create MyTeam, their only hope are to find ‘Mawi’ dalam dunia bola. So, I totally agree with them.

3. Gorgeous Female Celebrity Chef

Florence Tan did appear dalam Travel & Living beberapa kali, but auntie itu mungkin used to be gorgeous la kot. I hope to see female, Malaysian version of Oliver Twist (Naked Chef). Imagine Marion (8TV) plays with sharp knife and hot boiling oil, sexxyyy.

4. Flamboyant Billionaire

Malaysia still in a stage where success and rich people are nerd, old and boring. There are no cool billionaires that mingle around with youngster and portray image sebagai orang kaya yang enjoy their life to the limits. Macam Donald Trump or Sir Richard Branson (Virgin Empire). Prospective to become one, Tony Fernesdes (AirAsia), Datuk Farid (TV3), and Khairy J (dia mungkin hanya menantu Pak Lah but he graduate from Oxford and successfully build his business even masa zaman Dr. M). Hopefully they will climb the ladder and jadi flamboyant billionaire satu hari nanti.

Sports Update

Politic Sikit:

Aku terfikir if less than 50% pengundi keluar membuang undi akan diadakan pilihanraya sekali lagi ke? Aku jahil undang-undang, but if true memang best. Pembangkang just promote supaya orang tidak mengundi (boleh kena tangkap kot) then, hopefully there will be pilihanraya kecil sampai bila-bila. Ha..hahaha..haha..

There are a lot of thing happen in sport scene currently. Here few highlight:

Asean Football Championship

Malaysia luckily qualified to semi final thanks to Philippines or Malaysia rasuah player Myanmar kot...hahahaha… Since Sea Games yang lepas 5 Myanmar players didakwa rasuah and they brought Anti Corruption Police with them to Bangkok to ‘jaga’ player mereka this time. We just lack of creativity dalam permainan and most player kita slow. Maybe Norizan patut trust few youngsters like Safiq or Saramsak. We need speedy left winger just like Khyril yang main sebelah kanan. Central midfielder, hope after few games under their belt together Hardi, Shukor and Nizaruddin will play better next time. Kita memang tiada striker since in MLeague pun foreign import je yang score. So, oldtimer macam Hairuddin are the best yang kita ada, if Akmal and Indra sihat maybe ada option sikit. Beside few silly mistakes, our back four are rock solid, experience, compose and aku percaya there are no strike force in this region can do any harm to us, even Singapore’s Nor Alam Shah yang score 7 biji lawan Laos. Goh Tat Chuan believes Nor Alam Shah and Indra Shahdan are the best forward in South East Asia sekarang. I don’t know why, but aku betul-betul menyampah dengan ex-Singapore player ni, he not selected this time, so consider ex la. Last night his colleague kat ESPN puji dia sebab correct prediction for group A, and he accept the compliment with a smile…bullshit..! I still remember in front of Shebby he said Malaysia have no chance to make it to semis. I really hope Singapore will top their group and allow us to kick their ass walaupun aku agreed Singapore are favorite to win the championship.

January Transfer Window

Aku cuma interested dengan transfer involve Liverpool FC sahaja, so here the update.

  1. Italy U-21 goal keeper Daniele Padelli from Sampdoria on a six-month loan deal
  2. Emiliano Insua from Boca Juniors on 18 months in duration loan.
  3. Swedish U-17 striker Astrit Ajdarevic signed for a fee of roughly £75,000. Ajdarevic played for Falkenburg in the Swedish 2nd Division
  4. Jamie McCarthy, the Scottish wonderkid, on progress.

Happy to see Liverpool strengthens their youth team. Arsenal gave them a lesson? Maybe…also in Liverpool front doors are Lucas Neill from Blackburn and Javier Mascherano from West Ham United, not a bad idea at all.

Also, rise few eyebrows are Beckham and Mourinho issue. Really hope Mourinho move to other club, I believe he will get better respect at other places, Real Marid, Milan or even national team like Australia and Guus Hinddink is not a bad option for Chelsea. Beckham heading to U.S, macam sireh pulang ke ganggang la. Popstar memang patut berada di L.A pun.

Australia Open

Roger Federer will continue his domination in world tennis. He promises to win all four major this year, selain dari teen sensation Rafael Nadal, there is no one stands between him and his dreams. Kalah dengan Roddick dalam tournament pemanas badan last week, indicate nothing. The only interesting event in Australia Open apart from Sharapavo’s dress is her rivalry with Amélie Mauresmo. I bet they will play in the final and my prediction Sharapova will be in the losing side. Maybe Kim Clijsters boleh buat kejutan and we will witness William sister comeback maybe in next major, not this time around. Tapi yang menarik ada ramai player Asia terlibat kali ni, mostly in woman category.
