Gaji 2 Kali Sebulan

Idea terbaru daripada pegawai-pegawi penasihat Perdana Menteri yang diterima oleh Pak Lah. Pak Lah mentioned yang idea ini datang dari pegawai-pegawai kerajaan pada mesyuarat pasca mesyuarat cabinet. Maksudnya, mesyuarat antara pegawai sebelum mesyuarat antara menteri cabinet. Damn… mereka yang dibayar gaji berpuluh ribu sebulan ini memang genius tahap dewa, selalu memberi idea yang out of the box. Atau mungkin juga memang mereka sering memikir dari luar kotak.

Aku tidak nampak kebaikan gaji dibayar 2, 3 atau 4 kali sebulan. Kalau gaji dibayar ikut minggu, aku setuju. Macam player bolasepak Eropah, since kalau dibayar sekali seminggu, selepas setahun kita akan untung 1 bulan gaji. Cuba la kira sendiri kalau tak percaya.

Berbalik kepada gaji kekitangan kerajaan dibayar 2 kali sebulan, pada pertengahan dan penghujung bulan. Potongan KWSP, cukai pendapatan dan lain-lain akan dilakukan pada pembayaran hujung bulan.

Kebaikan
Kerajaan peka kepada masalah kakitangan kerajaan dan membantu untuk manage aliran tunai mereka. Jika diberikan sekaligus, kemungkinan pada hari ke 20, gaji sudah habis dan rakyat akan merana. Bijak…bijak….

Selalunya pekerja makan gaji akan bergembira sekali sahaja iaitu pada hujung bulan...tapi kini mereka akan tersenyum 2 kali sebulan. Seronoknya…

Kepada peniaga pula, sebelum ini most monthly promotion dipusatkan pada hujung dan awal bulan sahaja. Kini mereka boleh mengadakan promosi pada tengah bulan dan sekaligus menambahkan sales.

Tunang aku, seorang kakitangan kerajaan selalu belanja aku makan ikan siakap masak 3 rasa every time dia dapat gaji. Nampaknya ada chance aku makan ikan tu dua kali lepas ni. Hahaha...

Keburukan
End of the month pekerja kerajaan akan dapat separuh gaji, tolak KWSP, tolok cukai dan tolak pemotongan lain. Most loan seperti rumah, kereta, credit card, personal loan dan bill seperti electric, air dan telephone juga perlu dijelaskan pada awal bulan. Hahahaha… maksudnya sementara menunggu second payment pekerja kerajaan kena ikat perut lah. Mungkin lebih dari 10 hari pekerja kerajaan perlu berjimat cermat.

Kesimpulan
Pak Lah anggap government servant bengong, lemah, bodoh, tak reti urus kewangan peribadi sampai tahap kerajaan terpaksa tolong uruskan. Kita bukan merujuk kepada pengurusan kewangan yang besar seperti pengurusan credit control, investment juta-juta atau saving hari tua (KWSP), tapi ini cuma gaji bulanan. Pak Lah merasakan kerajaan perlu pusing semula kebelakang (zaman 60 dan 70 an) dan menyibuk dalam urusan kewangan peribadi mereka dengan memberi separuh gaji pada tengah dan hujung bulan.

Pandangan Peribadi
Kesian government servant dapat big boss yang kurang mempercayai kebolehan staff dia sendiri dalam menguruskan gaji bulanan. Kesian juga kepada rakyat Malaysia mendapat PM yang ‘terlalu bijak’ atau/dan ‘terlalu mengikut cadangan’.

Here the story:

While planning activities for Visit Malaysia Year 2007 with the conjunction of 50^th years of independent celebration, Malaysia government organizes various world class sporting events to promote sport tourism. Event such as Formula One, Roger Federer vs Pete Sampras, Badminton Super Series, Malaysia Open Tennis Championship, Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Tourney and of cause Asia Cup Final (one month of July) and Manchester United exhibition match (27 July) against Malaysia selection - the problem occurs here.

1. FAM already signed an agreement with AFC that they will not organize any high profile event to divide media and fans attention from AFC Cup during one month period. (July)
2. FIFA rules indicate any government must approach them for any Category A match through football association, in this case FAM

So, FAM as we all knew their level of stupidity plan to organize the match without realize they violate the agreement. AFC president warn them about the issue. Our beloved prime minister stupidly getting himself involves and makes the matter worst. When AFC refuse to allow the match even with Pak Lah instruction, everybody slam AFC and label them as arrogant and failed to repay Malaysia deeds, including set up AFC ‘home’ near Bukit Jalil.

My view:

FAM – Stupid, what we can expect from this bunch of idiot.

Pak Lah – Stupid, why he need to publicize his support?

Mohamed Bin Hammam – Correct, cool…

Other politic figures that slam AFC – Damn stupid, just shut your month. (Including ‘the son in law’)

My suggestion:

1. Reschedule the match to early August (if possible). M.U should agree to reschedule their plan since we (Malaysian) throw our money to them via sponsorship (AirAsia and Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board) and TV right (Astro)
2. Forget Mangkuk, and invite other club or national team to play in early August.
3. We not really celebrate our national football team, so just forget about the exhibition match.

I realize if we follow AFC instruction, we lose some face. But, it is our own damn mistake. Furthermore we not rank that high in football world anyway.
