Another funny story from Penang. Sorry lah, tired with work, no time to membebel serious issue.

Sunday afternoon, I and my boss nak pergi to our branch office at Belissa Row. Kami keluar dari hotel dan cari taxi yang beratur panjang di Gurney Drive. We told the driver we want to go to shop lot at Berissa Row. He kinda blur, then ask his taxi buddies.

They talk in Hokkien.

Taxi Driver: @#$%^& Berissa Row…!@#%...?

His friend: Berissa Row…@#$#%^$& Astro…!@%%^&&…!

Taxi Driver: Oooohhh… Astro !@#$%^...

His other friend: @#$%...!

Then, we went into his cab. After 15 minutes he stop and said, “10 ringgit…”

My boss: Hold on… this not our office.

Taxi Driver: Near to Astro, right?

My boss: Yes.

Taxi Driver: There… Astro…!

We look around, there no Astro nearby.

Aku: Mana Astro?

Taxi Driver: There… Astro what…

My boss calls our Penang manager who obviously can speak Hokkien and pass the phone to the taxi driver.

Taxi Driver: @#%&..Astro..!@$%..Astro…!@#%$^#%^ Astro…

He pass back the phone to my boss, and my boss said we can’t see any Astro here.

The driver obviously cant tahan anymore, he point his finger out and said....

“ ...There Astro la… that’s not Astro ka?... ”

I observed closely his finger’s direction and I saw this….

Aku: Hello kawan… we said Astro… A-S-T-R-O. Not Esso la...

Taxi Driver: Oooohhh.. ok..ok.. I know…I know…

15 minutes later we reached at the office.
