This posting boleh dikategorikan sebagai 2 postings jadi satu lah. Obviously inspired by current failure of Malaysia football team to qualify to group stage of Asia World Cup 2014 qualifying round and heart-broken result of the latest LCW vs Lin Dan encounter in recently conclude Word Championship in UK.
Bolasepak: Only In Malaysia
Pasal bolasepak, aku nak listkan beberapa senario yang kita hanya boleh jumpa di Malaysia sahaja. It is almost impossible to witness this kind of scenario di negara-negara lain (obviously aku refer to famous country, takde la aku tau citer kat Uganda, Guatemala, Benin….)
1. Tak Kenal National Player
Pelik betoi rasanya bila sembang dengan kawan-kawan pasal game Malaysia kita tak mention nama player. Kita cuma cakap nombor jersey sahaja. In most countries, national football player for sure antara manusia paling popular dalam negara dia.
2. Captain National Team Tak Captain Club
Aku tak recall mana-mana captain pasukan kebangsaan negara lain yang main dalam negara dia, but tak elected as club captain… (Beckham dulu masa main Real Madrid, jadi England captain… kan?). Safiq Rahim bukan kapten Selangor… infect, his Selangor skipper…Amri Yahya not even dalam squad kelayakan world cup.
3. No Live Telecast for Home Game
How come game versus Arsenal hari tu takde live di tv? Memang aku tak boleh terima…. How on earth we agreed to play the match without getting the broadcasting right of the event? Bengong…
4. Every Year Format Liga Berubah
Habis season…. While other major league dah keluarkan jadual next season (to ease fans touring plan and club sponsor activity)… kita masih menunggu jawatankuasa something of FAM to finalise the league format. Basic info pasal jumlah team relegated and promoted pun di putuskan months after season ends… what a joke.
5. Keeper Squad Olimpik Sama Dengan Keeper Senior Team
Goalie selalunya antara player paling experience dalam squad since dia boleh nampak the whole movement of the team… panoramic point of view, penjaga gol nampak lebih jelas berbanding jurulatih dan peminat. So, keeper selalunya akan advice pemain-pemain lain or supply coach with sufficient info. But, weirdly our No. 1 goal keeper young enough to play for Olympic Squad…. Huhu! (19th years old Iker Casilas masa jadi 1st eleven Galaticos dulu pun tak jadi keeper utama Spain.)
Badminton: Why We Hate Lin Dan?
Before procced, just imagine kalau both our current king and queen of sports (the two Dato’s) kahwin. Fuh! Confirm anak mereka power gila sukan raket….
Pasal badminton pulak… malas nak ulas kegagalan Dato’ Lee Chong Wei ditangan Lin Dan…. Instead aku nak predict perasaan ramai rakyat Malaysia pasal the Super Dan. Obviously, all 20 plus million rakyat Malaysia (yes, including kanak-kanak and baby) benci dengan Lin Dan… why?
1. Chinese Nationality
Nope… apakejadah aku nak racist… LCW pun Chinese gak… maksud aku ramai kita benci Lin Dan infect not just us, but almost the whole badminton fans in the world hate China Badminton National Team because they just plain good (from the tweeter trending during world championship final). Sometimes they toying with the draw and the tournament schedule. Even their team manager, ex-double expert Li Yong Bo damn langsi everytime big tournament akan confident mention China will win all events. And what make us lagi sakit hati sebab memang dia betul… semua category mereka menang… kalau ada yang kalah 1 atau 2 kira big failure lah. Siot tul…
2. Dia Kurang Ajar
Buka baju… lari-lari… jerit buat gaya macam gorilla… and remember masa Thomas Cup di KL? Siap menari robot lagi depan fans Malaysia. Memang kurang ajar… then, aku masih ingat lagi masa Malaysia Open di Kuching yang dia kalah dengan LCW lepas LCW kejar from 11-19 down. Waktu penyampaian hadiah, penyampai tu (orang besar S’wak) nak pakaikan dia dengan topi tradisi kaum di S’wak. Lin Dan refuse to wear the hat, dia ambik ngan tangan dan pegang…. Memang kurang ajar.
3. He Damn Good Badminton Player
BUT…. The main reason most of us benci Lin Dan adalah kerana dia adalah pemain badminton single paling terror… and since we believe our beloved LCW adalah perfect player… and even LCW failed to beat Lin Dan, so Lin Dan sebenarnya are more than perfect (if there any such level). It is unfair for someone that have gigantic amount of firepower that produce 270-280 km/h smashes can also have a rock solid defend and agility to twist and turn on the badminton court. Sama macam fighter bull play ice skating superbly… tak logic, kan? Not to mention super human mental strength…
